2020, what a year it has been. We (Muffy & Zane) of Explorer’s Tread have closed for the season due to covid. We made the decision early on, and we apologize for any inconveniences.

There are too many moving targets at the moment that would prevent us from providing a quality experience. It seems simple but even trying to get you in and out of a kayak while staying 2 metres away is impossible.

We will be operating next year and look forward to showing you all the beauty of the Bruce Peninsula.

We are currently closed due to COVID-19. We will resume guiding when it is safe to do so. In the mean time, please enjoy adventures in your own home (example: discover what is hidden under your couch or count how many steps it takes from the couch to the fridge) or better yet, discover what is growing outside your front door.

Adventures are always out there, even in your own home. Stay tuned for more helpful tips, tricks and some silly nonsense from the Explorer’s Tread Crew.

We are happy to announce that we will be working with Connected in Motion, right here in our backyard!

Join us Jul 12-15th for a backpack trek through Tobermory! We’ll hit the trails on Friday morning, spend two nights in the backcountry, and return to our cars on Sunday afternoon.
