A perfect vacation doesn’t mean everyone is smiling, happy and getting along for the whole time. A perfect vacation means time together, learning and experiencing new things as a family, and creating life skills and opportunities for our children. Kids are gonna be kids! And their purpose is to test, push, and make US learn lessons 😳and this doesn’t stop on vacation as much as we would like it to!

I’m always going to assist in any way I can to make requests for my clients. There is no harm (and no gaurantee) that you will be granted those requests BUT why not ask?

I make a point of notating it in your booking documents AS WELL as emailing the hotel directly. There is a sweet spot before you check in when your rooms are being assigned that I have come to know from talking to resort staff on our agent trainings. Emailing the front desk at the right time sometimes makes the difference.

Worked on some training this weekend!

What this means for you my clients is I have now both experienced and “passed the test” for knowledge on all there is to do before and after your cruise from Florida ports.

And there is a lot! There are historical sites, so much food and a huge variety, tons of family activities, fabulous shopping, a variety museums even gondola rides and so much more outdoor activities! I haven’t even mentioned theme parks yet!

Turing a 3 or 4 night weekend cruise into a full week vacation with land and sea is incredibly customizable and doable especially with the addition of their higher-speed train, Brightline.

I’m working on some invoices and quotes this morning but I have to break to do this PSA as I have found a unicorn!!! 🦄 Free kids 12 and under at a resort that very often ticks the boxes (because it honestly just has it all) for families, for winter 2027.

Honestly this is wild! I was asked to find a resort with a good beach and a waterpark, decent food and lots to do for kids 11 and under for a budget of under 10000 and I really wasn't sure what I could find to show this client. BUT this resort WITH kids free is worth a close look! I've got you!

Disney is the hostess with the mostess!

Recently was invited to get updates on what’s new and coming to Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line and to watch the movie Star Wars: the Mandalorian and Grogu.

Automatic yes from me; even with a 2 hour drive and almost a full day of work to do.

Totally worth it! Saw my friends .ceras.guest and , missed .to.the.magic, movie was totally cute ‘cause so much Grogu including his little hands and his little walk 💚and won some hats! Thanks and for a great event!

I’m seeing lots of posts on Facebook groups about all inclusive packages for Christmas and winter 2027 - 👏yes! This is the time to be looking.

Did you know it’s the same cost to book on your own without an advisor as it is to use one?

If you aren’t sure where to go or what to look for in a resort for your family I am here to help with that. There are so many resorts out there I hear from my clients they got decision fatigue so came to me. If you have specific questions about dining reservations, waterslide heights, queens or double beds and are rollaways guaranteed? I can help with that. If you have multiple rooms to book, I can take care of all of that coordination including making sure everyone is on the same flight and paying the same price!

The other great thing - there are lots of helpful travel advisors out there and many are no pressure. So, when you start looking for your vacation try contacting some travel advisors to see if they would make the process enjoyable and add value. That’s my goal with my clients! I'm spending my Saturday night on my laptop watching the NHL playoffs looking up all inclusive vacations for 2027. I wanted to share this one as it has an excellent price from Transat.

Here is one for Mexico - great for families with younger kids, Paradisus Playa Del Carmen Riviera Maya, 2 adults and 2 kids, under 8500.00 for 7 nights from Toronto in February 2027.

Important to know:

The beach can be hit or miss here, it is long and wide in most areas for walking.

There are rooms for families of 5 here.

Room service is available 24/7 and there is no fee for your first two orders each day.

Three pools, giant water buckets and five slides. One of the two pools is heated in the winter!

Baby club ages 1 to 4 - this is really unique to have a kids club for children under 3! Kids club 5 to 10 years old.

There are swim up suites for families!

Live music at nights at the restaurants.

Super fun to be aware of: They have a “morning breakfast” option that can be delivered to a swim up room: it's a beautiful basket that is swam to the room by a staff filled with lots of deliciousness. It is an additional cost of approximately $48USD.

Important to be aware of: Kids 10 and under are really going to love the water features, but older kids may be bored. Some report a lot of mosquitoes as there are mangroves, and there are also no oceanview rooms.
