🌴5* Paradisus Cancun

I recently had the pleasure of revisiting the Paradisus Cancun following its remarkable renovation, and I have to say—I was genuinely impressed.

I’m not usually a big fan of the Cancun Hotel Zone vibe. However, after this visit, I may be rethinking that opinion.

A Few Things You Should Know About the Property:

✨Located in the Cancun Hotel Zone
✨3 Pools
✨9 Restaurants
✨7 Bars
✨24-Hour Drinks & Snacks
✨5 Buildings (9 Floors Each)
✨Elevators

✨New Aquazone Water Park Area
✨Major Renovation Completed in April 2026
✨Excellent central location close to shopping, dining, and attraction.

My last visit to this resort was in 2024, before the renovation, and I can honestly say they have done an incredible job. The transformation is impressive, and the photos simply don’t do it justice.

For next season (January–May), I’m currently seeing pricing starting around $2,700 per person based on double occupancy.

Would I recommend it?
If the Cancun Hotel Zone is on your radar, Paradisus Cancun is definitely a resort worth checking out 😎🌴

5* Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to visit the new Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres, which opened in late 2025. As someone who has always been a fan of Majestic Resorts, I had high expectations—and it certainly did not disappoint.

A few things you should know about the property:

✨605 rooms – all suites
✨Entry-level suites are over 1,000 sq. ft.
✨Many suites feature outdoor jacuzzis, swim-up access, or rooftop plunge pools
✨Stunning beachfront location
✨Adults only section
✨Kids Club
✨12 pools
✨9 restaurants
✨12 bars
✨Fantastic white-sand beach
✨Elevators throughout the resort

My first impression? Modern, spacious, and beautifully designed. The oversized suites, excellent beach, and variety of amenities make this a fantastic option for couples, families, and groups looking for an upscale all-inclusive experience in Costa Mujeres.

The starting price I’m seeing at this time for next winter is $3300 per person

Would I recommend it? Absolutely and you can guarantee I will be booking myself a day in the very near future 😊🌴

✈️ Wheels Up Again! ✈️

So… where am I headed this time?

🇲🇽 Mexico!

I’m excited to be joining Transat for a week of training, learning and experiencing the Riviera Maya and Costa Mujeres.🌴

As I have mentioned before, FAM (familiarization) trips allow travel advisers like myself the opportunity to experience the destinations we sell first hand. Investing my time and money into the best kind of training, hands on. And in doing so I can better help you plan the perfect vacation.

My home base for the week will be the beautiful 5* Dreams Puerto Morelos 😊 I’m looking forward to seeing the updates that have been made since my last visit when the property operated as Hyatt Ziva Riviera Maya.

Exclusive Pricing, What Does It Mean?

Lets talk about exclusive pricing..

When I post a deal marked Exclusive Pricing that means that the pricing is exclusive to me 😉
I have secured a limited amount of seats, rooms categories at a premium price point from Halifax airport (unless other wise stated)

These rates are available for a limited time and in limited quantities, offering exceptional value that are not available through standard public pricing. Once the allocation is sold or the promotion ends, the pricing is gone.

Sometimes I am able add departures from different airports

At times I may have multiple Exclusive options sometimes up to 11 months in advance and they don’t always make it online to advertise.

So when I post an exclusive March Break option that is selling for $2290 per person and you search it online and it comes up at $3,000 per person, that is exclusive pricing that is only available WITH ME for a limited time.
