Not only did we grow up in one of the most beautiful places in the world, we had parents that made sure we appreciated it. O
ur mom set a great example by being active outdoors. We watched her cross country ski all winter and mountain bike all summer; she set the bar pretty high. Our dad is a 4th generation Forester that had us backcountry camping by the age of five. When Lee was ten and Liam eight, he took us on a 4 day bush whacking trip from Meat Cove to Pleasant Bay that wove through bogs, over mountains, and even down a waterfall. There was no question in his mind that his boys would know how to handle themselves outside. Growing up with the Cape Breton Highlands as our backyard, we've always had a strong connection with the outdoors. Pushing each other's limits with a strong urge to explore has had us ice climbing mountains and sleeping in snow banks. You could find us taking it easy, tubing down the Margaree River or stepping it up and heading out on a multi-day trailblazing trip without any food; you know, the usual kid stuff. Through it all, we've shared one main feeling: a strong sense that there was something special about where we grew up - and we wanted to share this place with the rest of the world. Most people don't know how or where to go to plan for these adventures. On top of that is the cost and time to research and buy the gear. That's where we come in. We provide the service of making your experiences easy and stress-free. We will coordinate your whole itinerary based on what you want to do and will provide you with the gear you need to get on the road for your next adventure. Growing up as the family’s rebel, Lee wanted to find his own path. And, with his love for adventure, a normal nine-to-five would never do. Lee eventually found himself working off shore as a Deep Sea Diver ending up hundred's meters under the ocean. Lee is the ideas man at Live Life InTents, cooking up new experiences and keeping Liam on his toes. LIAM – MEAT AND POTATOES
Liam is the second oldest in the family of four and has been trying to keep Lee grounded for years. (It’s not working). Liam is a jack-of-all trades. He is a former teacher and boxer, current member of the Reserves who can be found weightlifting in the barn or out in the woods as part of the 5th generation of Frasers to work in he Cape Breton Highlands. Liam is the logistics guy and loves mixing his passion for the outdoors with local history and story-telling; feel free to ask him a question - you’ll probably hear more than you wanted to know.
