I recently had the opportunity to stay in a Preferred Club Junior Suite Swim-Out King, and I’m excited to share my experience with my clients!
🏝 Room & Preferred Club Experience
The room was absolutely perfect, it was modern, spacious, and very comfortable. The swim-out was 100% worth it. It provided quiet, private swim time away from the busier main pools, which I especially appreciated.
Due to the limited availability of pool and beach chairs throughout the resort, having direct swim-out access to our own pool space truly came in handy and added even more value to the experience. If you enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere with added privacy and flexibility, I highly recommend upgrading to a swim-out category.
Preferred Club guests also receive butler service, and ours was fantastic, he was attentive, responsive, and checked in daily to ensure we had everything we needed.
An added perk of Preferred Club is access to exclusive dining options for breakfast and lunch in addition to the main buffet. This offers a quieter, more elevated dining experience and was a great alternative when we wanted something a little more relaxed and less busy.
🌴 Resort Atmosphere & Activities
The resort is large and offers activities throughout the day and evening for all ages. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, or as a family, there’s always something happening. The entertainment team was friendly, engaging, and did an excellent job creating a fun and welcoming environment.
🏖 Beach
The beach itself is absolutely beautiful, it is wide, clean, and very scenic. However, the ocean can be quite strong, with noticeable waves at times. It’s great for enjoying the views and long beach walks. Guests who prefer very calm, swimmable water may want to keep this in mind. For surfers or those who enjoy stronger waves, this beach would definitely be a great fit.
🍽 Dining Experience
During my stay, I dined at:
• Portofino (Italian)
• El Patio (Mexican)
• Seaside Grill
All three à la carte restaurants met my expectations and delivered great quality food and service. The buffet offered plenty of options at each meal; however, I did find that selections were fairly similar throughout the week, with limited day-to-day rotation.
🏖 One Consideration
The only downside during my stay was the availability of pool and beach chairs. Due to the size and popularity of the resort, it was sometimes difficult to find available seating during peak hours, which again made the swim-out room an even more worthwhile choice.
💼 Overall Thoughts as a Travel Advisor
Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana is a beautiful, lively resort with strong dining options, great entertainment, and worthwhile Preferred Club perks. The swim-out category is an upgrade I would confidently recommend to clients looking for added comfort, privacy, and flexibility.
If you’re considering this resort and would like personalized advice on room categories or whether Preferred Club is right for you, I’d be happy to help! Hyatt
