🎨 Tour local galleries, meet passionate artists, and create a piece of artwork yourself to take home during the Trolley Art Series: Paint Edition!

The group will join a guided tour with Dayna Wells at the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre's Hidebound Exhibit.

In what might be the earliest chemical process, ancient people discovered the method to turn the hide of a freshly hunted animal into a useful material: Leather. This exhibition brings together a selection of notable pieces, many of which have never been displayed before.

The next stop is Art Room on 2nd, where the group will be greeted with charcuterie cups and beverages, and introduced to a number of Southern Alberta and Southern Saskatchewan artists throughout the gallery, showcasing painters, potters, and copper artists.

Finally, the group will meet with Medicine Hat-based artist Theresa Eisenbarth at the Hat Art Club for a hands-on acrylic painting experience, inspired by the locally-grown produce Hatters have access to throughout the summer.
