We would like to alert our Ontario’s Best Butter Tart Festival vendors to a recent scam attempt targeting our vendors. Individuals have been impersonating The Town of Midland and Ontario’s Best Butter Tart Festival in an effort to solicit payments or sensitive information.

Please be advised:
• Ontario’s Best Butter Tart Festival applications will open in September for the 2027 festival.
• Ontario’s Best Butter Tart Festival only accepts vendor applications for through our official website.
• We are not requesting any payments at this time.
• All email communication from our team is from an email address ending in .ca and not .com.
• We will never accept e-transfer as a method of payment.
• We strongly advise that you do not send funds or share any personal information with anyone claiming to represent our events outside of our official channels.

If you are unsure about the legitimacy of any vendor communication, please contact us directly using the phone number or email listed on our official website.
