Let's talk about Portugal. 🇵🇹 I've been twice and I'm already planning my third trip, so that should tell you something. Porto is my favourite. The Douro River winding through the city, the port w**e cellars you can tour and taste your way through, those moody streets and colourful buildings stacked up the hillside. There's a romantic, slightly brooding atmosphere that just gets me every time. I could sit by the river with a glass of port and watch the boats go by for hours. Lisbon is gorgeous too, with its cobblestone streets, historic trams rattling up the hills, and pastéis de nata (custard tarts) on every corner. The Algarve coast down south has some of the most dramatic beaches and cliffs in Europe. The seafood is fresh, the w**e is underrated, the tiles on the buildings are beautiful, and the people are genuinely warm and welcoming. It's also one of the more affordable European destinations, which doesn't hurt. If Portugal isn't on your list yet, put it there. You'll thank me later. 💕
