Planning a Walt Disney World vacation for a family of 6 or more? ✨🏰
Here’s what you need to know before booking your resort!

Many Disney Value Resorts only accommodate up to 4 guests in a standard room. The exceptions are the Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, which offer additional sleeping space and separate living areas perfect for larger families.

If you’re considering a Moderate Resort, select resorts such as Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, or Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside they offer a fifth sleeper in the form of a child-sized pull-down bed. While these rooms can work well for some families, they may feel a bit snug for larger groups.

For families needing more space, extra bathrooms, a full kitchen, laundry facilities, and separate bedrooms, the villas are often the best-kept secret. Resorts like Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Disney’s Old Key West Resort along with others offer spacious 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and even 3-bedroom villas that can comfortably accommodate larger families while giving everyone room to spread out.

The best part? Larger families don’t have to sacrifice comfort to stay in the Disney bubble. ✨
