to the day I was chased by some adorable little "big horn" sheep 🐏
Ok, so I wasn't actually chased, but I had no idea these little guys were trekking up the mountain behind me until looking back at the photo as we were walking away. Once I realized, I turned around and there they were! Casually making their way up the mountain behind us.
It's important to remember that while encounters like this are cool, you must ALWAYS respect the animals, their space and their homes. We remained a safe distance and admired from afar, being careful not to frighten them.
In addition, when exploring, always pack out what you pack in and NEVER feed the wildlife! It's so important to keep the land clean and respect the little (and big) ones who call this space home.
