New UK Travel Rules NOW in effect-Dual Citizenship (British + other country)
British citizens (including those with Dual Citizenship) can no longer enter U.K. with a Canadian passport. They must now use a British or Irish passport or a certificate of entitlement to enter. Children of people born in the U.K. may also be affected as British citizenship may be automatically passed down through a parent. These new rules are linked to the new UK Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) requirement to enter the U.K. Airlines have been told to ensure passengers meet entry requirements prior to boarding.
