POV: You drive a few hours and suddenly feel like you’re in Europe. 🏔️✨

Our family getaway to Domaine Château-Bromont was everything we needed and more. From mountain views and incredible food to relaxing hot tubs and family-friendly adventures, it honestly felt unreal that we were still in Canada.

To make the drive easy with the kids, we turned the road trip into part of the adventure:

➡️ Stop 1: Brockville Aquatarium
➡️ Stop 2: The FREE Brockville Railway Tunnel (just steps away and perfect for stretching little legs)

On the way home:

🏴‍☠️ Belleville’s famous Pirate Ship Playground
🦖 Primitive Designs — one of our favourite roadside stops filled with giant sculptures, unique treasures, and endless things to explore. Admission is free (donations welcome), and somehow we never leave empty-handed.

If you’ve been dreaming of a mountain getaway without the hassle of a long travel day, add Château-Bromont to your list. The views, the food, the family memories… 10/10 would do this trip again. ❤️

Save this for your next family road trip and tag someone who needs a Quebec getaway.

Looking for an Ontario staycation that’s equal parts relaxing and fun? ✨

We checked into Staybridge Suites St. Jacobs and spent the next few days exploring everything this area has to offer.

🍺 Beer flights and Caesars at Stockyards Brewing
🛍️ Antiquing and shopping through the charming St. Jacobs Village
🎯 A round of mini putt at Putt Social
🎳 Bowling at Kingpin inside Bingemans
☕ Slow mornings and cozy evenings back at the hotel

What I loved most? Staybridge Suites made the perfect home base. Everything was close by, which meant less time driving and more time actually enjoying the getaway.

Whether you’re planning a couples escape, girls’ weekend, solo recharge trip, or family staycation, there’s more than enough to fill your itinerary.

And trust me — one visit won’t be enough. There are still so many places I want to explore next time. 🤍
