Mother Nature bring us all the rain we need to be safe in the woods again.

Event scheduled tonight in the Irishtown Nature Park in partnership with the SERSC has been postponed due to dry and hot weather conditions.

Rescheduling will take place when conditions improve. Be sure to stay off trails and out of woods at this time as many of us watch fires too close to home. Brooks are so dry compared to last year this time. Foraging, hikes, nature walks are ALL on hold until restrictions are lifted. We all can do our part.

Friendly Foraging Reminder 🍄✨
Yes—some wild mushrooms are edible and even delicious! But many are tricky to identify and some can be dangerous. Always forage with an expert, never guess. Safety first in the forest!

Wonderful day leading herbalists on a nature/ edible wilds herb walk at the Hayes Farm in Fredericton as the NB Herbalist Assocation held their AGM and voted in the new executive and standing officers for the upcoming year. It was a day of learning, sharing stories (about our love and use of all wild plants) and so much more.

Running into old friends and making new as we explored fermentation, plant to potion, herbs for anxiety and wild first aid. Very exciting day as we learned from one of the best 7Songs.

Thank you so much for the invitation Tatum (Bear Roots Forest) to lead this walk as we all learned from each other and I love that. I’m now a new member of the Association and I couldn’t feel more proud.
