Thank you to all who joined me at Irishtown Nature Park last night for an educational interpretive walk. Appreciate you all taking the time it was a slow one although lots of information was shared from the history of the park (I helped build this park over 30 years ago when working for the City of Moncton, taught outdoor education in a class portable by the spillway for years, led groups from John Howard who gave back and helped build the first trails in this park with wood that was cut from the forest hauled by horses, that was showing signs of decline although supported another use in bridge construction) to flora and fauna and medicinal tips.

Happy first full day of Autumn. As you embrace the changing of the seasons get excited for the colors of our forests that will be showcasing themselves as the daylight lessons as days go by.

We had a lovely Fall Equinox Celebration last night embracing the changing of the seasons letting go of what burdens us and welcoming in new intentions and plans for the Fall.

I love fall for it all brings, still lots of foraging to do in order to fill my pantry with wild products that become my pharmacy in the cold winter months.

Nature is Healthy is my brand and I live by it every day, honouring Mother Earth respectfully although using what she provides for my natural health and wellness. We are all stewards of the land and I take each walk in nature with gratitude and excitement. Happy Fall Everyone 🙂

Thank you for the food donations as well will drop at local food bank this morning 🙂
