Next up is Hilton Barbados Resort! The views here are iconic, with turquoise water, white sand and sweeping coastal scenery from its setting on Needham’s Point.

This classic resort combines a beautiful beachfront location with a fascinating piece of Barbados’ history.

A few highlights:

A little history…

Next up is Turtle Beach, a Tribute Portfolio All-Inclusive Resort! This property was super cute and colourful, with plenty to keep everyone busy.

This all-suite resort on Barbados’ south coast combines a lively, family-friendly atmosphere with spacious accommodations and lots of island charm.

A few highlights:

• All-suite accommodations, with extra space to relax
• All-inclusive dining and drinks, with three restaurants to choose from
• Complimentary Flying Fish Kids Club, featuring games, Bajan crafts and activities that introduce little ones to the island’s culture
• A children’s splash pool and playground

• Close to St. Lawrence Gap for exploring local shops, restaurants and nightlife

🌴 Barbados Resort Reviews: The Sands Barbados, 4 ⭐️

Next up in my Barbados resort review series is The Sands Barbados, a popular choice with Canadian travellers!

This all-inclusive resort sits on Worthing Beach on Barbados’ south coast, with contemporary accommodations, tropical gardens and a relaxed beachfront atmosphere.

A few highlights:

• All-inclusive meals and drinks, plus afternoon tea
• Beautiful beachfront setting on Worthing Beach
• A swimming pool and included non-motorized watersports
• One- and two-bedroom suites, plus larger family options
• Convenient location for exploring nearby St. Lawrence Gap

We enjoyed lunch during our inspection, and the buffet was delicious! It was lovely to sample the food while taking in the beachfront setting.

A couple of room details worth knowing: air conditioning is only in the bedrooms of the suites, with fan-cooled living and common areas. Some showers also have shower curtains rather than glass doors. These are helpful details to consider when choosing the right fit for your stay.

Who would I recommend it for? Couples, families and friends looking for a relaxed all-inclusive beach getaway, with suite options offering extra space.

Next up in my Barbados resort review series is Sandals Barbados! I really loved the gorgeous grounds, the beach area with watersports, and the variety of amenities. There’s even a bowling alley!

This adults-only, all-inclusive resort on Dover Beach is designed for couples, with the added bonus of access to Sandals Royal Barbados right next door.

A few highlights:
• Stay at one, enjoy two resorts, with plenty of dining, pools and bars to explore
• Included watersports, including kayaking, paddleboarding and snorkeling

🌴 Barbados Resort Reviews: Sea Breeze Beach House, 4.5 ⭐️

I’m kicking off my resort review series with my favourite of the properties we inspected in Barbados last week!

This smaller all-inclusive resort on Barbados’ south coast combines a beautiful beachfront setting with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of Bajan charm. With just 122 rooms and suites, it’s one I’d suggest for travellers who enjoy a more intimate resort experience. It’s cute as a button everywhere you look!

A few highlights:
• Rooms just steps from Maxwell Beach
• Included non-motorized watersports, including kayaking and paddleboarding
• Spacious suites with multiple bedrooms, ideal for families travelling together

Who would I recommend it for? Couples looking to unwind, beach lovers, and families or multigenerational groups wanting an all-inclusive stay with room to spread out.

Barbados + an amazing group of travel agents = One epic fam trip! 🇧🇧

Exploring the island, rum punches and “Sweet Caroline” on repeat, there was no shortage of laughter. So thankful for the new friends and moments that had us laughing until our cheeks hurt!

Exploring another side of Barbados this morning!

We visited Walkers Reserve, where a former sand quarry is being restored through sustainable farming and habitat restoration, then headed to Bathsheba to take in the rugged coastal scenery.

There’s so much to experience on the island, from wildlife encounters and island safaris to Harrison’s Cave, rum distillery tours and catamaran adventures with swimming and snorkelling!

Now it’s time to recharge before our last evening in Barbados. ☀️

🇧🇧 Day 2 in Barbados was a busy one!

We spent the day doing site inspections at The Crane, Sea Breeze Beach House, Bougainvillea Barbados, The Sands Barbados and Hilton Barbados, getting a firsthand look at what makes each resort unique.

After a quick swim and recharge, we finished the day at the Spirit of Barbados Awards Gala at Sandals Royal Barbados.

Once I’m back home, I’ll be sharing individual recaps of each resort, including my firsthand impressions and who I think each one is best suited for. Stay tuned! 🌴
