🌊🌫️ Fog on the Bay of Fundy!🌊🌫️

This photo was taken in Alma, New Brunswick a perfect example of just how quickly thick fog can roll in off the Bay of Fundy. One minute, beautiful blue skies and the next, a wall of fog moving across the coast. The Bay of Fundy is always changing and always putting on a show! ❤️

🐦🌊 A BONUS BAY OF FUNDY MOMENT! 🌊🐦

Yesterday’s tour came with an incredible high tide bonus thousands of Semipalmated Sandpipers putting on an amazing show along the Bay of Fundy! 😍

Every summer, these tiny shorebirds stop here along their migration route, gathering in huge flocks to feed and rest before continuing south.

When the world-famous Bay of Fundy tides rise, the birds are pushed closer to shore, giving us the chance to witness scenes like this. ❤️

It’s one of the things I love most about touring the Bay of Fundy: no two days are ever exactly the same. Mother Nature always has a few surprises waiting for us!

Yesterday, the Semipalmated Sandpipers were definitely one of them. 🐦🐦🐦

🎥 Turn up the sound - you can hear their wings beating as they take flight!

Another unforgettable moment on our Signature Low & High Tide Hopewell Rocks & Bay of Fundy Tour with Roads To Sea Tours.

Two families. Two neighbours from Saskatchewan. One BIG Bay of Fundy adventure! 🌊❤️🦞I had such a fantastic tour day with these two wonderful families who are neighbours back home in Saskatchewan and decided to travel the Maritimes together. What an awesome group; kind, courteous, full of laughs and ready to jump into everything we threw at them! By the end of the day, everyone was officially Roads To Sea Low & High Tide Certified 🌊🏆, four members of the group completed their Lobster 101 training 🦞🎓 with a few brave souls even taking the famous lobster shot! 😂 and everyone became moose call certified! 🫎🥳 It was an absolute pleasure getting to know all of you and sharing a little piece of New Brunswick and the Bay of Fundy with you. Keep travelling, keep laughing and keep making memories together. Have an amazing time as you continue your Maritime adventure and safe travels from all of us at Roads To Sea! ❤️ Happy trails until we tour again 🥳🙌🏽☀️🌊🌲🎶

From the golf course to the ocean floor these golfing buddies sure know how to travel and have fun together! ⛳️🌊 Brenda and Jeff first toured with me back in 2013, and it was such a pleasure to welcome them back this time with their wonderful golfing group to become officially Low & High Tide Certified at Hopewell Rocks! They took every certification task and step very seriously…especially the New Brunswick tradition of kissing at the covered bridges! 😂💋 They did such an impressive job that they practised at two different bridges just to be certain! What an incredibly fun group to spend the day with. Thank you for returning to Roads To Sea and bringing your golfing buddies along for the adventure! ❤️

🌊🌊 Now THAT was a Tidal Bore! 🌊

What an impressive sight today at Tidal Bore Park in Moncton! With last night’s New Moon bringing stronger tidal conditions, the Petitcodiac River put on quite a show. 🌑🌊

This video is about a minute and a half long, but it’s worth watching as you can really see the bore making its way up the river and feel the excitement as it approaches!

It was also fantastic to see so many people gathered along the riverfront today to experience one of our region’s coolest natural phenomena. ❤️

The Bay of Fundy never gets old. Even after seeing these tides again and again, there are days when Mother Nature reminds us just how extraordinary this place really is.

Some places have a way of calling you back and sometimes they convince you to bring the whole family. ❤️After joining me on my signature Low & High Tide Hopewell Rocks & Bay of Fundy Tour twice in 2025, Lisa and Gerald fell in love with New Brunswick. This year, they returned for Round 3 this time with Hunter and Hannah so they could experience the magic for themselves. That might just be the greatest compliment a tour guide could ever receive.I absolutely loved getting to know this amazing family! 👉🏽They now officially hold the Roads To Sea Tours World Record for the fastest entry into the van thanks to a very enthusiastic welcoming committee of New Brunswick deer flies! 😂🏃‍♂️💨 Hunter also claimed the title of 2026 NB101 Champion, with Hannah finishing a razor-close second. She has already promised she’ll be back to take the crown on their next visit, so the competition is officially on! 👑🏆What made the day so special wasn’t just the incredible awe inspiring scenery; it was sharing it with such kind, fun, adventurous people. Days like these remind me why I love what I do. Thank you, Lisa, Gerald, Hunter, and Hannah, for choosing Roads To Sea Tours once again. I hope this won’t be your last New Brunswick adventure. There are still so many spectacular places, hidden gems, and unforgettable experiences waiting for us to explore together. Until Round 4 - safe travels, my friends! ❤️

Every summer, one of nature’s most incredible spectacles unfolds along the Bay of Fundy. The migration of the Semipalmated Sandpipers. 🌊 🐦 In this video a small grouping of Semipalmated Sandpipers take flight in perfect harmony before returning to the shoreline to roost while they wait for the world’s highest tides to reveal the mudflats once again. A breathtaking reminder that some of the greatest shows on Earth are completely natural. ❤️ This video was filmed at the back beaches of Hopewell Rocks at high tide. A bonus part of our Low & High Tide Hopewell Rocks & Bay of Fundy Tour at high tide in July and August 🥳🙌🏽🌊☀️

You could say our guests are getting a real “taste” of New Brunswick and at Briggs Maple, that’s literally true! 😉🍁

One of the greatest joys of operating Roads To Sea Tours is partnering with incredible local businesses that genuinely care about every guest who walks through their doors.

Today, we’d like to shine the spotlight on Briggs Maple. From the moment our guests arrive, they’re welcomed like family. Whether it’s learning the fascinating process behind making pure maple syrup, watching the syrup being tested, or (the sweetest part! 😄) sampling the delicious finished product, every visit is an experience to remember.

A heartfelt thank you to David and the amazing Briggs Maple team 👉🏽Sherry, Guy, Kim, and Renée for your warmth, hospitality, and passion. And a special shout-out to Guy the gentleman working behind the scenes preparing the maple syrup, who always takes the time to explain the process with such knowledge and enthusiasm. It’s those personal touches that make all the difference.

Choosing a private tour with Roads To Sea means we can customize your day around authentic experiences like this; introducing you to the passionate people, local flavours, and hidden gems that make the Bay of Fundy region so special.

After all….life’s just a little sweeter when it’s shared around a maple syrup tasting. 🍁❤️

Thank you, Briggs Maple, for helping us create memories that last a lifetime.
