JMSBG - John Molson Sustainable Business Group

JMSBG - John Molson Sustainable Business Group Sustainability is often thought of in vague terms, mostly related to environmental responsibility.

JMSBG is a graduate student organization with a mission to build responsible business leaders through a clear understanding of the viability and value of sustainable business practices within JMSB community, which students can apply into their careers. John Molson’s Sustainable Business Group (JMSBG) is an associa

tion at Concordia University's John Molson School of Business (JMSB) that represents all graduate students. We work to enhance the academic experience by helping to build responsible business leaders, instilling a clear understanding of the viability and value of sustainable business practices within JMSB graduate students for them to carry forward throughout their careers. While the planet is certainly a focus of “sustainability in business”, so to are people and profit. The JMSBG's focus is to help graduate students realize the impact that future business decisions can have on people, long-term profit and the planet. Sustainable business decisions are those made with the triple bottom line in mind, rather than the single, profit driven, bottom line. JMSBG offers events, education and resources on the matter, in hopes to build resilient and adaptable business leaders with a focus on long-term success and profitability.
