I donโt write this type of thing โ I have always believed that customer service speaks for itself but this warranted something a little more.
I have known Vaughan for nearly 30 years โ yes, weโre getting old โ and have followed his movement through a few different occupations in which heโs excelled. When he became a travel agent, I knew that heโd become a guru in this field too.
After talking to Vaughan during the early winter of 2025, he helped book myself and my wife on what turned out to be a great vacation โ much needed and went off without a hitch. While I could certainly talk about that trip, it was truly the most recent trip that proved Vaughanโs mettle as an exceptional Travel Advisor who showed his professionalism and dedication during trying times.
A small monetary windfall hit our family in July of 2025 and so we decided, with one child headed to University and the other starting High School, that there would be no better time than then to take a family vacation. The time was growing short when these kids would want to hang out with their folks โ so we had to act!
Vaughan pulled out all the stops and booked a cruise for us all โ family friendly ship, a couple of days in Florida, the whole nine yards โ little did we know the ordeal in store!
During the lead up to the cruise, (and we only booked a WEEK before the ship was scheduled to leave port), Air Canada staff decided to strike at the last minute!
This meant that most of Canada who were flying that week were either stranded at their destination or stranded at their origin.
Vaughan dug in.
Late nights quickly turned into early mornings working through booking agents and websites to ensure that we got there on time. Vaughan was able to get flights (a โmilk runโ is the best description of it) there and a car waiting and we made it to the cruise ship โ with 13 minutes to spare!
With the stress of getting there and the daunting task of perhaps having to cancel, Vaughan stayed by us and doggedly kept working to ensure we got there. What should have been simple had became complex โ a relaxing vacation became a race against the clock. Throughout it all, Vaughan responded promptly to all of the challenges that arose and continued to check on things as we vacationed to ensure that the experience was a great one.
Vaughan's communication skills are excellent, both in written correspondence and in personal interactions. He takes the time to listen to clients' preferences and offers insightful recommendations that consistently exceed expectations. His organizational abilities, reliability, and proactive approach make him a trusted advisor and an asset to anyone planning a vacation โ though Iโd recommend that you do it with more time in advance that I gave him!
Throughout our relationship, Vaughan has shown remarkable attention to detail, expert knowledge of destinations, and a genuine commitment to client satisfaction.
We commend Vaughan for his friendly demeanour, resourcefulness, and ability to deliver outstanding results under pressure.
