We are very proud and excited to be launching the Ontario Crag Sticker Series at the with 4 illustrated stickers of some of our most beloved rock climbing crags 🥳

All of the proceeds from the sale of these stickers (minus the production costs) will go towards Climb Aid+, a new charitable initiative that will fund outdoor climbing trips for people from low income/high risk communities ❤️

We collaborated with 4 incredible artists and climbers to create these beautiful stickers:

This workshop is taught by TJ McInnes (.mcinnes ), a Registered Kinesiologist in Ontario, who is currently working as both a Kinesiologist and a Strength and Conditioning (S&C) coach.

TJ completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University, followed by a Master of Professional Kinesiology at the
University of Toronto. He has also been accepted into the Doctorate in Human Performance & Innovation program at the University of Limerick.

Over the years, TJ has supported a wide range of clients—from recreational athletes to top-level professionals—in achieving their performance goals.

TJ currently serves as a performance coach with Gary Roberts Performance and as the assistant head S&C coach at True North Climbing.

Calling all developers and rock climbers 📢 !!!

After countless hours of bushwhacking and pouring over topo maps, we finally found the cliff of our dreams and the new mecca of Ontario rock climbing 😍😍😍

Over 600 feet tall and several kms long, this cliff has a lifetime supply of bullet hard, high friction rock that’s perfect for hundreds of new trad, sport, and bouldering routes 🙌

It’s located in a large swath of crown land just west of Algonquin Park and east of South River 🗺️

Once developed, this area will shift the focus of Ontario rock climbing from the Niagara Escarpment to the Canadian Shield.

New ice routes to be explored during the winter of 2026!

Don’t stop believing!

There are tons of new climbing areas in your own backyard that are just waiting to be discovered.

Prepping is never complete without …

✅ a couple fun pitches 🧗
✅ waist deep snow ❄️
✅ hauling heavy loads 🏋️‍♂️
✅ tons of laughs 😂

As we pack our bags to head to the first annual , we take a moment to reflect on the amazing 8 (+1) ‘s that rocked the Ontario climbing community’s woolly socks!

We started helping out the festival in 2018 by parking cars at Diamond Lake and went on to offer beginner ice movement clinics at the final 2023 extravaganza 🥳

Over the years we watched the festival grow into a well-oiled winter climbing machine that:

- Introduced hundreds of people to ice climbing, dry tooling, and mixed climbing 🙌

- Gave the Ontario climbing community a fun way to connect during the winter months 🥰

- Raised $27,500 for local charities 😍🫶

- Gave local residents an opportunity to try ice climbing 🧗

- Showcased some of the amazing local climbing companies that we have in Ontario and Quebec: , , , , , etc

- Gave away tons of amazing prizes from generous sponsors 🎉

And so much more!

The organizers (Andriy Kolos, Josh Smith, .hoang , Laura Duncan, ) and their awesome team dedicated so much of their valuable time towards making this festival the gold standard for a fun, educational, efficient, safe, and totally badass climbing festival 👏🥳❤️!!!

Just got back from an amazing week of guiding in and 🧗😍❤️

The first couple days were all about winter anchors and foundational ice movement 🤙

We had great conditions and even made some new friends from the and Camp Medeba … and a random goat who kept trying to break into our unit 😂

We had such a fun time during these first couple days out on the ice 😍💕

We recently spent a beautiful, sunny day with Ontario climbing legend, mentor, and friend, Matt Naunheimer, on his birthday 🥳🎂🎈

Matt has been establishing trad, sport, ice, dry, and mixed routes in Ontario since the 90s and he’s still going strong!

You can climb his work at McCrae Lake, the Elora Gorge, the Hangar, and at crags all over Parry Sound and the surrounding area 🙌

We’ve long admired Matt’s …

- graceful and technical climbing style 🧗
- creative route development 🔨
- uncanny ability to name new routes 😍
- innovative gear alterations 👨‍🔧
- outlook on climbing 👀
- warm personality 🥰

He is truly a climber’s climber and the Batman of Ontario climbing 🦇🦇🦇……… which explains why none of my pics show his face 😆

On his birthday, Matt screwed his head on tight and sent a steep and ephemeral line down the road from his house… right before it turned into a snow cone 🍧 !!

Such a good lead 💪

If my 70s look half as good as Matt’s then I’ll be a lucky man 🤙

Head up to Parry Sound and get on a rope with Matt, he’s one of the best climbing ambassadors around!
