My cutest climbing partner is back ... summer edition 🌞

I'm starting to think that he likes ice climbing a bit more 😂

Ugh, so much drama simply because the crag isn't air conditioned 🙄

His protest started 5 mins after he arrived at the crag ... but, it worked and he got what he wanted - snacks, a/c, and precious pillows 👍

Bro needs to toughen up ... sending season is right around the corner 💪 🍂 😍

Winter post… because rock season is too long 😂

We had mixed feelings about the ice that we climbed during our Canmore trip in March …. but, there was nothing mixed about this 2 hour approach to a classic WI4 😍

We approached through a twisting, turning, slot canyon that included … 

- Climbing around open pools of water
- Postholing through thigh-deep snow with 60 km wind gusts
- Soloing short, scrambly sections
- Short roping through harder sections
- Climbing steep snow slopes
- and rappelling !

We salute this ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ approach 🫡

A coolish, early May climbing day before the leaves popped and the world got warm again 🥵

Didn't dare hop in the lake that day, but we'll be back throughout the summer when a quick dip will be a necessity 😂🌊

So awesome that we get to climb in such a wide range of conditions ... keeps us on our toes 👣

Looks like the biggest Ontario climbing access win... ever !!!

Beyond excited to see how this project gets rolled out 🙌

Still waiting for a full list of parks but we've confirmed that Algonquin and Killarney are both on the list to be opened 😮

CBC News covered our January ice climbing trip to Tiffany Falls the day after a huge blizzard hit Hamilton 🙌

The gorge was filled with fresh powder and the waterfall had just frozen in time for our clients to be the first climbers to climb there this season 😍

It was a joy and a pleasure for us to make this long-awaited experience happen for them 🙏

We want to thank for their support and for preserving climbing access to this beautiful waterfall 👏

Definitely one of the most memorable days of the season 🥳

🧊 Snowshoeing across frozen lakes in deep snow
🧊 Seconding ice pitches
🧊 Rappelling
🧊 -15 Celsius temps
🧊 Great vibes 🥳

It didn't stop snowing the entire time 😂

Next stop is Hamilton where we attended the , guided Tiffany Falls, and climbed a couple other gorgeous waterfalls 😍

Kicked off the ice climbing season on January 2nd and we're very thankful to have had some great days out this week 🥳

We climbed with some eager locals and tourists from Germany and America 🙌

The routes have been a blast to climb and we're excited about how fat the routes are going to get because of this recent thaw 😍

Looking forward to a great weekend out on the ice 🙃
