KBR Campground - located just minutes north of Nakusp. KBR has 43 sites with a group area that can house 10 tents. New owner, Brian, has done some upgrades already with better wifi connectivity, washrooms, picnic tables, LED lighting around the grounds, has parking available for touring bikes. There is an RV available to camp in! More upgrades are planned for the 2027 year with some surprizes!! Reach out to Brian at: 250-265-4212

The gate at 0.8 km on the Kuskanax FSR will be closed from Monday, September 14th to Wednesday, September 16th and locked to all traffic in response to the Central Selkirk Caribou Maternity Pen Operations. Sept 15 - Needles Ferry will be shuttling and not maintaining a schedule from 0530 to 0930 due to Road Construction at the Needles Terminal. Expect delays. Also - Needles will be out of service for maintenance starting Sept 14th At 11 pm to Sept 15th at 0100am.
