This is a special one for us 💕💕

In only a week, I'll be heading back to 🏞️French Polynesia🏞️! While I've been back since the big family sailing adventure of 2004-2006, I'm going back for the first time with my husband and daughter, as well as other family and friends, so it will be extra special getting to relive and share our memories with them and, of course, make some new ones!

We're travelling with a group I've put together on the cruise line Paul Gauguin - known for its French Polynesian approach to hospitality and laid-back luxury - and I couldn't be more excited!

There's a reason Japan has been rated one of the top countries in the world 🌏🌏

Their cities are also known for being very dense and walkable, making them super tourist-friendly. So many streets have shops and restaurants piled on top of one another, it makes the journey just as interesting as the destination!

🫣Me trying to kiss the Blarney Stone 🫣

The Blarney Stone was set into a tower of the castle in 1446 and its legends are nearly as old - it's said to give anyone who kisses it the "gift of the gab". Maybe fate decided I don't need that gift! 😂😂Hanging backwards off the castle was...a challenge, but how many people can say they participated in an ancient legend!! Pretty cool!

You may be wondering what I'm doing...there were moments where I was too 🤣🤣

Learning to do a traditional Irish reel was something I just couldn't say 'no' to, but I will admit, it took a few tries to get it down! With beautiful live music, a cozy atmosphere inside an Irish pub, and an amazing teacher, it was such a fun time! I already want to go back for another dance!

In the meantime, I'll help you have similar experiences - and maybe teach you a couple steps before you go so you don't struggle like I did 😂

😯A travel agent AND a mixologist?!?! 😯

As a part of the conference, we got the opportunity to test out a few unique experiences Belfast has to offer, and I'm so glad I chose the mixology class! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who's interested in upping their cocktail game 🍸 or even just learn a few new skills with some great people!

I'm on my way home now, but I still have loads more to share!! Keep an eye out for more highlights headed your way 👀👀

Being a travel advisor isn't always glamourous....but sometimes it is 🥂🥂
