After obtaining her Travel and Tourism diploma and Business Administration certificate, she entered the travel industry and has never looked back in 22 years. While some travel agents prefer to specialize in one

area or another, Amanda has worked with clients in many aspects of travel. Some of the areas her clients’ needs have been focused on include: Family Groups, Destination Weddings, Luxury Honeymoons, Safaris,Corporate Retreats, Missionary & Humanitarian Travel – just to name a few. Amanda also spent 5 years working for a Non-Profit organization in Uganda as the Travel Coordinator, helping individuals and teams coordinate their travel plans from all across Canada.During her time there, she was fortunate enough to travel to Uganda multiple times with her teams, where a piece of her heart will always remain. Other destinations Amanda has travelled to include: The UK, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France, Uganda,United Emirates of Dubai, extensively throughout the USA (Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Dallas, Orlando,Jacksonville, Miami, South Beach, St. Pete’s, Tampa, Seattle, Disneyland,Disney World, Oahu & the Big Island), the Cook Islands, throughout Mexico(Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cozumel,Manzanillo), Jamaica (Negril, Montego Bay & Ocho Rios), Bahamas as well as Belize & the Cayman Islands. If traveling by ship is your preference –Amanda has experienced sailing with Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Princess,Norwegian and most recently Celebrity Cruises. Amanda also stays up to date inspecting the ships when they are in port in Vancouver during their Alaska season! If you would like to hear a good story, ask her about almost getting trampled by an angry elephant in Murchison Falls National Park (Uganda) or screaming while swimming with the sting rays off the coast of Grand Cayman.
