As with New Years and birthdays, the days leading up to the first day of a new school year brings moments of reflection. Anxiety that the right supports will be in place for my child(ren) to excel and thrive with their education and social skills, as well as hope for new friendships and opportunities, and that they will enjoy their time spent in the classroom. During this time, I often begin to plan out potential getaways as well, whether it be summer camping, or new adventures abroad.

Travelling with kids can be SO different than travelling without. You do not necessarily have to miss out on things, but extra consideration is often required to personalize the experience to ensure that everyone will have an enjoyable time. In addition to minimizing travel time, certain activities may be recommend or preferred over others, or may even be something to hold off on until next time. During our month-long adventure in Australia, we learned this first-hand- experiences providing more dopamine were much more successful than others! For this reason, we have chosen to wait to visit certain countries until our children are older and are at a different stage of life to enjoy them.

We work with our clients to personalize their holiday to their specific family dynamics- whether they are hoping for an all-inclusive to unwind and enjoy pool/beach time, a cruise where they only have to unpack once and can enjoy multiple destinations, or working together to completely customize an adventure and tailor it just for them.

Situated on a wide white stretch of sand along Juanillo Beach in the exclusive gated community of Cap Cana sit the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. Just fifteen minutes from the airport, the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is a complete force to be reckoned with in the all-inclusive world. Sprawling infinity pools, a fantastic kids club, water park, and a selection of fourteen unique restaurants, bars, and lounges highlight the property, along with the next door Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana's adult-only offerings.

We toured these resorts in May, 2025 and can share nothing but rave reviews of what we saw. The food presentation in the buffet area alone was enough to tell me of the pride and quality that the resort offers (as seen in the pictures below!). As someone with celiac disease, I see this property shared time and time again of standout experiences with gluten free and other diet accommodations, which is SO important when you're putting your full trust into somewhere to take care of you!
