Feeling incredibly grateful today. ❤️🐴

Some days, you just have to stop and appreciate how lucky you are.

I’m blessed with an amazing lineup of horses, each with their own personality and heart, and the opportunity to share over a thousand acres of beautiful trails, fields, forests, and scenic views with both friends and new faces who quickly become friends.

Today, I was able to capture a few photos and videos on our ride. With our wonderful trail guides, Andrea leading the way and Debbie bringing up the rear, we set off for another great adventure surrounded by good horses, great company, and the beauty of nature.

Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. Thank you to everyone who joins us on the trails and helps make these rides so special.

They’re here! The lupins are popping up everywhere along the trails!

The fields are starting to fill with colour, the scenery is getting more beautiful by the day, and it’s one of our favourite times of the season to ride. Don’t wait too long—these blooms don’t last forever!

Things are really brightening up and growing around the beautiful Hammond River and the land we’re so lucky to ride here. The trails are looking more beautiful every day, and our horses are loving being back out doing what they do best 🤍🐴

We wanted to share something a little different we’ve been offering this season for some of our younger or more nervous riders so they don’t have to miss out on the experience 🐴💛

For these special rides, each child is paired one-on-one with a trail guide alongside their horse for extra comfort, confidence, and safety. They still get to experience all the beauty of being on horseback, enjoying the peaceful trails, the scenery, and making special memories with our amazing horses.

When we return from the ride, the kids also get to spend a little extra time brushing the horses and giving them treats from our horse toonie treat machine — which has honestly been such a rewarding part of it for everyone involved 🥰 Our horse keychain treasures have also been a huge hit with the kids!

We’ve hosted two of these rides already this season and have received such wonderful feedback. One was even for a birthday celebration 🎉

Seeing younger riders build confidence and fall in love with the horses has been so special for us. We’re beyond grateful to share these experiences with such appreciative families ❤️

First rides of 2026 are officially underway — and what a beautiful start it’s been. 🐴🌲☀️

We’ve been so blessed already with amazing riders, incredible horses, beautiful scenery, and hardworking hands helping make it all happen. Watching everyone — horses, riders, and crew — enjoy these trails together has been such a pleasure.

Half of our crew are new horses this year, and they are already doing such an incredible job. We couldn’t be prouder of how well they’re stepping up and becoming part of the Riverbank family.

Feeling beyond grateful to be here, doing what we love, surrounded by such beauty. Here’s to many more unforgettable rides in 2026! ❤️🐎

New girl Gem — aka Freckles — hit the trails with us this evening for the first time, and she absolutely loved it! 🐴❤️

Us trail guides had the best time showing this sweet girl around, and she took it all in like she was made for it. From the sights to the sounds, Gem fit right in with the Riverbank crew and looked pretty happy doing what she loves already. Welcome to the trails, Gem! ✨🌲

Whether you’re a two-legged mama, a four-legged mama, or somewhere in between—we’re wishing you a day full of love, appreciation, and maybe a little peaceful time to yourself.

This wet, rainy Mother’s Day has our Riverbank horses cozy, relaxed, and happily munching away on hay. Some of our girls may even be mamas from years past, enjoying the simple things today.

And honestly… the steady crunch of horses chewing hay might just be as soothing as listening to rain tapping on the roof. Different sound, same peaceful kind of magic. ❤️

So today, wherever you are, we hope you feel loved, appreciated, and maybe get a moment to enjoy life’s simple, calming sounds.
