Girls night out? 💃Get this charcuterie board from Sage, Nelson BC for the table - it has so many delicious ingredients to snack on while catching up and having a sip of wine. ✨There's lots of nuts, pickles, crostinis, spreads, cured meats, cheeses, and other goodies. One of our favorite combos was the maple cheddar with the lamb prosciutto!

PS - Sage is the spot in Nelson to go to for wine tastings🍷 We don't know much about wine so really appreciated leaning on their expertise to get a wine that paired with the charcuterie.

If you want a fresh decadent salad, look no further than the Wedge Salad at Donnie's Bistro in Rossland🏔️ Layers of crunchy iceberg lettuce are covered in a rich blue cheese dressing, topped with fresh dill, sundried tomatoes, crispy prosciutto, crumbled feta, chives and crispy onions.

Every element is so thoughtful here, it all pairs beautifully. We espeically appreciated the subtle complexity of the blue cheese dressing. Also, the crunch of the lettuce as you cut it is SO satisfying (you gotta hear it in the reel🔊)

Take the drive up to Red Mountain to Donnie's any Thursday to Sunday and check it out! 🚗☀️🏔️

This Tater Tot Breakfast Poutine (yes, those little potato nuggets of joy) from Ashman's Smash Burgers & Fries is a glorious way to start your day - crispy tots smothered in gravy, squeaky curds, and topped with bacon and a fried egg. Wowza.💥🍳🥓☀️

We're pretty excited that someone likes tater tots just as much as us 😉

The Ginger Beef Salad - this edible bowl (🤯) is filled with fresh crunchy veggies tossed in a sweet sesame Thai dressing, and then covered in loads of crispy ginger beef 🫚

It was such a delightful surprise to have this satisfying dish arrive in this cheesy bowl - so fun and fresh!

You can get this signature dish from Birchbank Golf just outside of Trail - their shaded patio is a great spot to enjoy the views of the greens on these sunny days⛳️☀️

This pickled beet salad from Redstone Resort is so fresh and vibrant! 🥗

Sweet beet puree is topped with pesto, goat cheese, greens, cucumber, orange slices, walnuts, and a huge crostini slice. 🍊

The pesto was a lovely addition to the beet spread and goat cheese for a trio of complex saucy flavours. 👨‍🍳

With grilled chicken and the crostini, this is a full meal! Feeling happy and healthy after this fabulous green lunch! 🌱😋

Have you ever tried a dosa from Kootenay Tamil Kitchen before? They're almost like a GIANT crepe with a yummy filling inside - they come in their own tray which is still too small for how big they are🤯😄 Dosai come with three different chutneys, making for a great finger food - and great for sharing too.

This time we tried chicken, but there's tons of fillings to choose from to suit whatever mood you're in. Paneer, veggies, lamb, they've got it 😋
