There is one compliment I'll never take for granted. 💙

When someone tells a friend...

"You should call Scott."
..it means more than I can put into words.

There are so many places people can book a vacation today.

The fact that you'd trust me enough to recommend me to your friends, family, neighbours, or coworkers is something I'll always be grateful for.

Every referral helps a small business like mine grow.

Everyone loves the idea of scoring a last-minute vacation deal... and trust me, I get it. 💰

But after helping hundreds of families plan their vacations, here's what I've learned...

The families who book early usually end up having the better overall experience.

Why?

✨ They get the best resort choices.
✨ They have more room categories available.
✨ They can book the dining experiences they actually want.
✨ They have time to budget with smaller payments instead of paying everything at once.
✨ They get months to dream, plan, and build excitement.

And here's one of my favourite parts...

If a better promotion comes out after you've booked, I can often look into applying it to your reservation (depending on the supplier and fare rules). That's one of the biggest advantages of having someone keeping an eye on your vacation.

Last-minute trips can absolutely work.

But if you've been dreaming about a specific resort, cruise, or Disney experience, waiting often means compromising.

The best vacation isn't always the cheapest one...

It's the one that feels like it was planned just for your family. 💙

📱 Mobile Order your meals whenever you can. It saves so much time.

💦 Pack a refillable water bottle. Florida heat is no joke!

🎢 Plan your "must-dos" before you arrive, but leave room for those magical, unexpected moments.

My job is to help you feel confident before, during, and after your vacation.

One minute they're best friends.

The next minute they're arguing over absolutely nothing.

And five minutes later?

They're laughing together like it never happened.

That's family vacations.

The little disagreements fade.

The sunburn heals.

The long travel days become funny stories.

But the memories you make together?

Those last a lifetime. 💙

Don't let the fear of "What if the kids fight?" stop you from taking the trip.

This is probably one of the most common questions I get from families planning a Universal Orlando vacation.

The honest answer?

✅ Yes... it's hot.

But no... that doesn't mean you won't have an amazing trip.

The key isn't hoping for cooler weather - it's planning smarter.

🌅 Get to the parks early.
💦 Stay hydrated.
❄️ Take advantage of indoor attractions and shows.
🏖️ Build in a mid-day pool or resort break if you can.

I've had plenty of clients travel during the summer months, and with the right expectations and a good plan, they still come home talking about the memories - not the temperature.

Don't let the forecast talk you out of an incredible vacation.

Unpopular opinion... trying to do EVERYTHING at Disney is one of the biggest mistakes families make. 🏰

I know it's tempting.

You've spent months planning, you've invested a lot in your vacation, and you want to squeeze every bit of magic into every single day.

But here's what I see time and time again...

The families who enjoy Disney the most aren't the ones racing from ride to ride.

They're the ones who build in time to slow down.

☀️ Sleep in once.
🏊 Spend an afternoon at the pool.
🍦 Grab a snack and people-watch.
✨ Wander without a plan.

You'll come home with happier kids, less stress, and memories that aren't just about checking attractions off a list.

Sometimes the best Disney day... is the one where you don't try to do it all.

One of my favourite little Disney secrets...

Every now and then, if you're in Fantasyland in the morning, you might just catch some familiar Disney friends taking a spin on Dumbo.

It's one of those unscripted moments that reminds me Disney isn't just about attractions...

It's about being in the right place at the right time.

My advice?

Slow down once in a while.

Look around.

Some of Disney's most magical moments aren't listed on the map.

And if you happen to spot this little surprise... consider yourself lucky. ✨
