From a week ago today- ⛈️🌪️ that was the FILTHIEST shelf cloud I have ever seen in my life!!! Yes, kids- say NO to driving and photography 😬, but, I couldn’t help it. This exact storm clipped the very edge of northern Niagara Region and went on to spawn tornadoes in upstate New York immediately after. Southern Ontario also got its share of confirmed tornado touchdowns that day, and Toronto flooded hardcore. Driving next to that cloud was ADRENALIZING!

From Saturday- Hamilton, Ontario, is a city of major and sometimes stark contrasts. Canada’s 10th largest city is urban intensity on the doorstep of the UNESCO listen Niagara Escarpment. Within the city core, there are severe examples of the “haves” and “have-nots”. Yet, there is undoubted character. Did you know that Hamilton has more named waterfalls than ANYWHERE else in Canada!? 🇨🇦 💧

From Saturday- 🏙️🥾 sometimes there’s a dose of “Owen’s Hiking and “URBAN” Adventures”- my brother Isaac and I did a full day of urban exploration- with a touch of woods- in Hamilton.
I’ve hiked the green belt around the city of Hamilton dozens of times, yet, neither my brother and I have actually proper explored the city- it’s the 10th largest city in the country, so it deserves a 15 km walk. More photos to come!
