From yesterday's hiking tour: 10 guests showed up at 10:00 AM for a 10/10 hiking experience! We visited one of the local swimming holes, saw a giant snake, sunfish, a dozen frogs and so much more! A few days ago, we found lakeside perfection 🫠 Mind-melting scenery and vibes. My amazing pal Rob and I camped along one of the wildest remaining stretches of Lake Ontario. Sadly, about 95% of the Canadian side of this Great Lake is developed or human land use right to the shore. Happily, 5% looks like what is all once looked like... the glassy lake and smoky sunset (caused by distant wildfires) were INCREDIBLE and grounding as f*ck.
Let's explore this spot, and many others, together!

From last weekend (clearly, still playing posting catch-up!), this family explored the sandstone bluffs of Jordan Harbour, which includes active populations of the bank swallow- a threatened species. Three generations- grandmother, mother and daughter + son attended, which is always super cool to see in action! Their friend from out of town also enjoyed her first paddling experience in Niagara's beautiful waters, plus a frequent kayaker who loves to come out!

From last week- 14 glasses of delicious fun served up at Vineland Estates Winery with cottage owners from Vine Ridge Resort! I guess my life is surrounded by vines!? The Eco-Wine tour I run is exclusive- there is no other tour like it in Niagara Region, as we hike, sip, and learn how the surrounding environment benefits the vineyards! The staff at this winery are also some of the kindest and most knowledgable I can think of!
