When we come across a spider, it's easy to cringe or scream. But perhaps learning about their importance might help them win a place in your heart, similar to E.B White's famous Charlotte.

Spiders live in almost every habitat on our planet and are "obligate predators", meaning they must eat other organisms to stay alive. Good news for us humans is that spiders eat many insects we dislike, including mosquitoes, flies and agricultural pests like aphids, grasshoppers, beetles and caterpillars. Thanks spiders! 🕷️
