🎉 Congrats to these students from Cadotte Lake School on an incredible 11 days in Nordegg!

From canoeing and rafting to hiking, camping, rock climbing, bushcraft and first aid, these students stepped outside their comfort zones, learned new skills, earned Paddle Canada and Canadian Red Cross certifications, and took on some BIG challenges – all while earning 7 high school credits! They also had the opportunity to share stories with local Stoney Elder Barry Wesley, connecting with the land and learning from local knowledge.

Way to go, everyone – you should be incredibly proud of yourselves! 💪

Wow, what an unbelievable Heli Rafting adventure! 🚁

Flying over breathtaking glaciers, getting dropped off on a remote island, and then floating through a wildly beautiful valley—it honestly felt like something out of a dream. 🏔️✨

One of those adventures you’ll never forget! ❤️

What a day. 🌊🎨⛰️

Yesterday's Float & Soil Painting collaboration was everything we hoped it would be. We drifted down the glacier-fed North Saskatchewan River under blue skies, shared laughs with an incredible group of women, and pulled ashore to slow down and see the landscape a little differently.

Guided by Crystalynn Tarr of Rendered Earth, everyone discovered the art of earth-based watercolours, painting with locally-sourced pigments to create pieces inspired by the very place we were floating through.

The weather couldn't have been better, the company was fantastic, and it was a reminder that some of the best days in the Rockies aren't about checking off viewpoints – they're about taking the time to truly experience a place.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this collaboration so memorable, and to Crystalynn for sharing her passion and artistry.

We can't wait to do it again 🙏

Wildflowers, mountain views, wild horses, and everything that makes summer in the Canadian Rockies so special.
