Thank you to everyone who came to our retirement BBQ for Linda last Friday, it was a huge success!

Get to know our new COO Gregory Kwong!

"Hello. My name is Gregory Kwong and I recently started with the Battlefords & District Chamber of Commerce as the Chief Operating Officer.

I’m proud to have an opportunity to serve the Board of Directors of the Battlefords & District Chamber of Commerce and to represent the Chamber members. Being from the Battlefords, I am excited to support the local business community in growing and being sustainable for many more years to come. I look forward to advocating for their needs as the “voice” for businesses and to promote the local business interests in the Battlefords & District.

I have completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Bachelor of Education at the University of Saskatchewan. I have also worked in education for over 14 years. I have been active as an actor and stage manager with both Battlefords Community Players and Cochin Community Players since 2018. I have previously volunteered to serve on the Board of Directors for Twin Rivers Curling Club and Cochin Community Players. I have also worked countless years as a volunteer at the Western Development Museum’s Fright Night and the Rotary Club of the Battlefords’ spudnut booth at Northwest Territorial Days. I also enjoy curling and longboarding.

Our Battlefords & District Chamber of Commerce staff had the opportunity to attend SUMMIT 2026 in Prince Albert, joining Chamber professionals from across Saskatchewan for three days of professional development, networking, and community connection.

From inspiring sessions on leadership and personal growth to learning new tools, sharing best practices, and exploring the Prince Albert community, the conference was packed with valuable insights and meaningful conversations. 🤝

We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with fellow Chamber professionals, learn from incredible speakers and local leaders, and bring new ideas and inspiration back to the Battlefords!

A big thank you to the organizers and everyone who made SUMMIT 2026 such a great experience! 💙
