Exciting update!

As of July 1st the Thailand pass registration and the $10,000 USD health insurance is no longer required for foreign travellers.

Although I do highly suggest travel insurance to protect yourself and your travel investment.

International travellers will only be require to show proof either a certificate of vaccination or a negative RT-PCR test taken within 72 hrs of travel.

Happy Songkran!

Thai New Year festivities have commenced and will continue until the 15th.

This is Thailand’s most significant & celebrated holiday and water plays a vital role in the celebrations as many Thai will cleanse their Budda statues etc. and with fragrant water.

There are several rituals but none as important as this, in the
washing away of bad luck from the previous year and to bring good luck & prosperity for the new year.

If your lucky enough to be in Thailand during Songkran bring a raincoat or prepare to get get wet.

Did you know Asian elephants in Thailand are an endangered species? Sad but true.

There are only about 2000 wild elephants in the country of Thailand and some are not cared for properly.

However this is not the case in the Khao Dok National Park in the Surat Thani province of Thailand where you find both the Elephant Hills Camp & Rainforest Camp.

Elephant Hills is a unique concept introduced back in 2010. You won’t find elephant riding here but you find an immersive, interactive and respectful way to encounter these remarkable pachyderms.

Here these beautiful mammals live pretty good eating, splashing around in their mud pool & playing@with each other.

Truly a must visit when in Chiang Mai.
