A Little About Me
My love of travel began at a very young age. To the best of my recollection, my uncle took my brother and me on our first flights from Jamaica to Hong Kong to stay with our grandmother. The trans-Pacific flight from San Francisco to Hong Kong was long, but as a child, it was an adventure! I reminisce sitting in the back of the plane with all the smokers, accompanied by the haze
in the cabin. Those were the days. Oh, how air travel has changed! Throughout my childhood, we travelled extensively between Jamaica, Florida and Toronto. After obtaining my Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Ryerson University, I did not know which path to take with my career. While working at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel, I decided to volunteer at American Express Travel (Amex). Subsequently, within a few months of hard work and dedication, I was hired and officially became a travel agent at Amex in 1996. I had a wonderful mentor who taught me everything she knew about travel. Without her guidance and knowledge, I will not be where I am today. I will be forever grateful. In 2007, I joined Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) as an agent. Due to personal and family obligations, I resigned my position with CWT at the end of 2013. Travel is still in my blood and I could not escape; therefore, here I am, as an Independent Agent now with Travel Professionals International (TPI). I cannot claim to be a world traveller, as many destinations remain on my bucket list. I have travelled to parts of the Caribbean, U.S.A, Europe, Asia, Australia and Canada. Surprisingly, I thought in my lifetime that I would never enjoy cruising, but I now love to cruise! So, why choose me? I provide years of knowledge, quality service, dedication and integrity which are the key foundations in maintaining my clients’ confidence. But most importantly, from start to finish, I will be there every step of the way. Thanks for visiting!
