I was fortunate enough to visit this operation in January during my time in Kenya and was nothing short of blown away. Down to earth, with the nostalgia of times gone by, staying at Cottars will make you want to return again and again.
Calvin himself is a gold level safari guide and so is Douglas whom we had the pleasure of being guided by. He was great company and a master in navigating a group of agents from North America (which is no small task).

If you'd like to visit Cottars which is located along the southeastern border of the Masai Mara and along the border to the northern Serengeti, as a stand-alone safari or in combination with Tanzania, let me know. You won't regret it!
