Before you pack anything else, check your plug situation.

One of the easiest ways to ruin the first hour of a trip is realizing your charger does not fit the wall.

Different countries use different outlets, and some hotels only have one or two in the room. I always tell clients to pack a universal adapter plus a power strip, especially if they’re traveling with a phone, camera, watch, and laptop.

And yes, if you need a hair tool, double check the voltage too. That’s the detail people skip, and it’s the one that causes the most chaos.

A quick plug check now saves a very annoying arrival later.
