Hello all supporters of trailhead Ranch horse programs and services! It's a brand new year 2021, and we hope it shows more promise for less covid risk, and more outdoor adventure down life's trails for everyone.
Support, good management and luck helped the horse herd survive to work again another season. We really were lucky. Hay prices dropped, rain came, and made feed available close by. Once more we are looking for more resident and/or local volunteers this spring/summer season to help work with young horses, ride, and get the ranch ready for the summer. Please send a note of interest if you or someone you know is interested. Be well and stay safe!

Feed Costs Update! The recent crisis in lost funds to pay winter hay costs for the horse herd is adverted for a few months. The sale of Piper allowed a semi load of 34 big bales to be delivered. We could still use spring feed funds, and hope everyone who is planning to ride the Riding Mountain area this summer season will consider purchasing RIDE CERTIFICATES at the pre price hike costs. Buy the certificates now for a reat value in riding adventure! (20% off the new rates to come)

To avoid another crisis in funding winter feed costs next year, ride rates will need to go up. We have experience a 100% rise in hay costs due to drought ,and need to cover it all to keep the herd fed for our loyal riders and family adventurers! Rates have always been low for years, so hopefully all our riders now and in the future will still support the amazing family fun provided by the Trailhead horses! Feedback so far has been really positive. Thank you all!
