🎶 It’s been one month since the 65th annual Mariposa Folk Festival — but the celebration isn’t over just yet!

📍 Head over to the Orillia Museum of Art & History (OMAH) to experience “Voices Through Time: A Mariposa Journey”, a special exhibit that captures the spirit, sounds, and stories of Canada’s most iconic music festival.
🗓️ On now through September 27th, 2025.

🎻 First held in Orillia in 1961, the Mariposa Folk Festival has grown into a beloved, family-friendly tradition — celebrating song, story, dance, and craft in the scenic setting of Tudhope Park. With more than 50 artists, food vendors, artisans, and activities for all ages, it’s a magical experience that draws visitors from across the country.

Missed it this year? Don’t worry — the dates for 2026 are already set!

🎶 Kilts, bagpipes, and Scottish pride return to Orillia this summer! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇨🇦

Join us for the 47th annual Orillia Scottish Festival, happening July 18–20 — a three-day celebration of Scottish heritage featuring massed pipe bands, highland dancing, live music, food and market vendors, a children’s village, and so much more along the beautiful waterfront.

📍Saturday’s parade will make its way down Mississaga Street to Couchiching Beach Park, where a full day of festivities awaits.

🕊️ On Sunday, take part in the traditional Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan at St. Andrew’s Church, followed by an afternoon Ceilidh at the Legion.

With entertainment happening all weekend at the Royal Canadian Legion and the Jim Campbell stage at the park, this is the perfect chance to experience the vibrant culture and charm of Orillia in the heart of summer.
