Save the date! Our 3rd Annual Holiday Pyjama Drive returns Nov 1. 💛

The Osoyoos Visitor Centre is once again collecting new, unused pyjamas for all ages, along with local grocery gift cards, in support of Desert Sun Counselling & Resource Centre.

Whether it's a cozy pair of PJs for a little one or a warm set for an adult, your donation can help make a meaningful difference for someone in our community this holiday season.

🎁 Here's how to take part:

📍 Drop off donations at the Osoyoos Visitor Centre
📅 November 1 to December 4, Tuesday–Saturday, 9 am–4 pm

As a little thank-you, every pyjama donation comes with a 15% off coupon for the Visitor Centre Boutique, valid until the end of January.

Planning on joining us for one of our Bubbles & Baubles Holiday Shopping Parties on November 26 or December 3? Donate a pair of pyjamas at the event and receive a $15 shopping credit to use during the party!

Fall is harvest season in the South Okanagan, and the roadside fruit stands are full of good reasons to pull over. 🍎🎃

Think crisp apples, juicy pears, late-season plums, vine-ripened field tomatoes, sweet melons, winter squash and plenty of grapes fresh from the fall crush. It’s also a great time to stock up on pumpkins and other seasonal goodies to take home.

You’ll find fruit stands along Highway 3 through Keremeos, as well as between Osoyoos and Oliver. And if you’re lucky, you might even find a little Halloween spirit along the way, like this fun display at Mariposa Orchards.

One last look at Spotted Lake (kłlilx’w) before its spots disappear for the season. 👀

The colourful mineral pools that make Spotted Lake so iconic are a summer phenomenon, created as water evaporates and concentrates the lake’s minerals. As water levels rise in the fall, those distinct spots gradually disappear beneath the surface.

If golf is on your Osoyoos to-do list, take a look at the calendar and find a tee time before the season wraps up.

A few dates to keep in mind:

⛳️ Park Meadows: Open until October 18
⛳️ Desert Gold: Closed for aeration October 12–16, then open until November 8

Pioneer Walkway is a beautiful lakeside path with mountain views, seasonal flowers, the iconic Memorial Fountain, and plenty of spots to pause and take it all in, including benches and a gazebo along the way.

Pro tip: Stop by for a sweet treat to enjoy during your stroll! 🍦
