A little glimpse inside Scarlet Night ❤️✨

One of Virgin Voyages’ signature experiences, Scarlet Night brings red-themed performances, music and entertainment throughout the ship before the celebration continues under the stars at The Aquatic Club.

And yes! RED is the dress code! ❤️ A few glimpses of our group in our Scarlet Night red made it into this one too.

Group trip doesn’t mean a packed group schedule. ✨

One thing I love about group travel is enjoying the group experiences while still having the freedom to do your own thing.

This morning, mine was breakfast solo at The Wake on Virgin Voyages. 🌊

Located at the aft of the ship, The Wake gets its name from the beautiful view of the ship’s wake as you sail. I experienced it both in the morning and in the evening, same beautiful setting, different menus and atmosphere.

And that panna cotta? Definitely one of my favourites. 😋

Sometimes the best part of travelling with a group is knowing you can enjoy the togetherness AND still make the trip your own.

“Limited Ocean View” sounds a little scary when you’re choosing a cruise cabin… but how bad is it actually? 👀🚢🌊

Here’s a real example from my Virgin Voyages cruise.

Instead of the usual glass railing, this terrace has a solid steel railing, which limits part of the ocean view when you’re sitting down. But there are elevated chairs that help you see over the railing, and I still had plenty of ocean views while standing.

I’ve also included a quick look at a regular glass-railing terrace so you can see the difference for yourself.

Would the limited view bother you, or would you happily book this cabin if it saved you some money? 👀
