✨ Day 13 – Going Home – 31 May 2025 ✨

We were up bright and early to get ready and start packing. After packing up, we used our last 3 snack credits for breakfast at the hotel’s food court. We grabbed two Mickey-shaped cinnamon buns and… believe it or not… a pretzel!! 🥨

When I say that Disney is full of magic — this proves it again. I was chatting with Amanda, the allergy chef, and told her the story about last night’s missed pretzel. Even though the food court doesn’t normally sell them (they’re only available at the pool bar later in the day), she said she had a few in the back and offered to bake one just for him. 🥰 We had one very happy little boy, and this mama’s heart felt a little less guilty. Pure magic. ✨

Our airport transfer with Mears Connect was seamless from start to finish. When you book, you enter your flight details, and they email you your pick-up time. Our shuttle was scheduled for 10:25 and arrived at 10:34 — not bad! We made two quick hotel stops before getting dropped off at Terminal C.

This terminal is new and absolutely gorgeous — everything is modern, clean, and well-organized. We breezed through check-in with zero wait.

✈️ I had reserved MCO Reserve for security, and we were right on time!
MCO Reserve allows you to pre-book your security time up to 7 days in advance. You just go to the RESERVE lane and skip the main line. With two kids and a ton of stuff, we cleared security in just 9 minutes! I highly recommend it — those lines can get intense.

Our journey home with Porter Airlines was stress-free and comfortable. Customs on both sides went smoothly — we didn’t experience any delays or extra steps.

And just like that, our magical 2-week vacation at Walt Disney World has come to an end. We’re heading home with full hearts and a camera roll overflowing with magical memories.

Yes, it was hot. Yes, it was tiring. But WOW was it worth it. 🩷

The kids are only little for such a short time. Take the trip. Hug Mickey. Watch their faces light up when they see their favourite princess.
