Join out attempts to communicate with the spirits of the Settler's Cabin. The cabin was originally built circa 1840 on Lot 15 Concession 11 of Ramsay (near the present Almonte Roundabout), by the William Wylie Family who resided on that lot from 1837 to 1853. The building was also owned by the Lockhart Family for several generations, and finally by the Thurston Family. It was donated to the North Lanark Historical Society in 1983 by Don and Britt Thurston. In 2024 we hosted a fundraiser for the Museum's of Mississippi Mills, this was one of 6 locations featured in the Public Investigation. To our surprise, the majority of guests reported it to be the most active location, experiences including knocking, footsteps, voices, and physical touching. As a team, we have never investigated it, now we are doing so. Join us and we investigate to see what all the hype was about! Watch, listen and tag in the comments anything unusual.
