Tuesday Post ( second attempt )...ITALY...Pompeii has always been a favourite with the groups I have lead to Italy...these castings, done of holes in the tufa while excavating, reveal objects and figures buried in the hell as it happened...

Tuesday Post...( twice monthly )...INDONESIA...this was a happy portrait moment...we had stopped to admire a view while driving in Sumatra, and this man was slowly walking towards us...I asked if I might take his photograph, and after a short deliberation, he agreed...what a handsome face, full of character.

Tuesday Post...( twice monthly )...TIBET...this is the shore of Lake NamSto, the holy lake 4 hours drive from Lhasa, the capital...every Year of the Sheep thousands of Pilgrims will walk around the lake clockwise for up to 30 days to receive blessings from the gods of Tibetan Buddism...it is a salt water lake and crystal clear with an amazing colour...I love how the clouds add a sense of drama to the scene.

Tuesday Post...( twice monthly )...ITALY...well, at Easter it's a good bet to post a photo of St. Peter's and The Vatican...this staircase has always intrigued me...a great place for anyone to get an artsy shot, especially with wide angle capability.

Tuesday Post...( twice monthly )...JAPAN...sunrise on my first day in Japan...I chose to stay out at Narita Airport to get my bearings and bookings...that very morning there was a tremor which sent me scurrying with toothbrush still in hand to the nearest door arch...reception said that they get them all the time !
