Greystone Retreat is a 5-bedroom, 3-bath private waterfront vacation home suitable for family gatherings. Sleeps 10 adults and up to 6 children

Greystone Retreat Rental Properties encompasses 3 rental units (5-bedroom, 3 bath waterfront; 2-bedroom, 1 bath upper suite; 1 bedroom, 1 bath bunkie) and a 430-acre private wildlife/nature reserve with over 15km of signed hiking trails. Greystone Retreat, the 5-bedroom waterfront property, was purchased in May of 2000. The unfinished basement was designed and built with rental guests in mind incl

uding 2 bedrooms, an additional washroom, large recreation room and laundry facilities. Overgrown flowerbeds were rebuilt; in-ground water system and lighting were installed and lawns reseeded. Renovations were completed July 2000 and our first guests arrived from England for the August long weekend. We were off to a wonderful beginning of sharing our property with guests from around the world. 128 acres across the road with a few kilometers of hiking trails provided guests with a taste of the natural surroundings. In 2005, owners Tony and Susan retired and moved to the area as full-time residents. Susan relocated her health and wellness center to Greystone Annex catering to Retreat guests and the local community. Fast forward to 2013, when Greystone Annex was renovated and opened as a second rental property. Located across the road from Greystone Retreat, it has direct recreational trail access and is excellent accommodation for additional guests of the Retreat. Within that window, an opportunity to purchase 3 adjacent 100-acre parcels to our nature reserve arose. We were thrilled at the chance to add to our existing wildlife/nature reserve and trails bringing the total acreage to 430 and, over the years, hiking trails totally 16km. In 2015, we opened Greystone Bunkie for rental guests and it was well received. Several renovations in 2017 updated it making it even more welcoming -- especially for small families. It is also perfect for an artist/writer getaway surrounded by gardens and direct access to trails. We very much enjoy meeting our guests, sharing our property and our love of nature with them.
