Unfortunately for Daniel, the crocodile wins the race, swallowing the fish right off his hook.

Last of 2017 Lake Trout . So looking forward to maybe fishing opening day in the Big Sound (water off Parry Sound). Fishing report to follow. For the cooks out there my wife Anne-Marie battered the trout fillets in chick pea flour spiced with yellow curry, salt and pepper and then deep fried. Tasted great!

I have fished for years with little success at jigging, until this past summer that is. learn to jig and I bet you will increase your fun on the water.

Good Morning friends. I have told many of the sucees i have achieved fishing for Lake Trout in Parry Sound. One technique is by using Dipsey Divers to get my fishing spoons in front of active fish. attached is a video i found to be very informative. How I set-up a Magnum Dipsy Diver for deep trolling. It will dive to 130 feet with braided line and 150 feet with stranded wire.

LAKE TROUT SUCESS- During the month of July 2016 i have been able to land 8 beautiful fish. Most where caught of rock shaols in 50' to 70' feet of water in the Parry Sound waters near and around Huckleberry Island. All fish where taken with a large BLUE FOX MATRIXX TROLLING SPOON - latered pink top, blue middle and silver belly. Sold locally at Walmart and Canadian Tire and available at Sail Stores referrenced as Code BFMX5;;HRB.

MacTier crappie caught in local lake during Family Day Fishing tournament. Most fish where caught with minnows and very light jig heads. Congratulations the Katelyn Broad who caught the largest fish in the adult category.
