It's Carp Market Opening Weekend!

For the first time in 16 years, we are delaying our start date as our products are a little behind due to the cooler and darker weather we've been having. We will see you NEXT WEEK on Saturday May 16th in our regular booth spot! We should have some greens by that point, as well planters, transplants and more.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone back at the amazing Carp Farmers' Market for another great season :)

Catching our breath over here and would like to take a moment to thank the amazing customers who stopped by on the weekend for their garlic fix. I loved hearing how well the garlic stored for you all and how much you enjoyed eating/growing the bulbs! We love hearing the stories, recipes, tips & tales. It's such a compliment that you come back each year and it makes all the work so worthwhile - Thank you!!

HUGE shout out to the Carp Farmers' Market - Katie (our manager), Maritza (communications), the market team, the vendors, and the hard working volunteer board for bringing back this festival with such success and glory! Well done!

We sold out of 6/9 varieties but do still have a good mix of strong, good storing porcelain garlic still in stock and have now re-opened our order form. If you are looking for some garlic, the time to get it is now, as we always sell out by the end of August.

Pick up from the farm in Pembroke, Carp Market, or we can ship with Canada Post flat rate boxes.

If you are interested in shopping in person (strongly recommended) from our WIDE selection of garlic - bunches and braids - I invite you to the Carp Garlic Festival taking place Saturday August 16th (8am-3pm) & Sunday August 17th (10am-3pm).

The garlic usually all moves by September 1st, so don't wait!

We're mowing cover crops today... I'm 5'8! This rye did quite well! Growing this crop since last fall has helped feed the microbial life in our soil and has held place, suppressing weeds, until our next crop is ready to go in. Wind/rain erosion protection too!
