Fear of falling.

We've all been there. Over gripped, panicking, and expecting the worst.

And then,

THE FALL.

Diamondback is offering a course to help move away from those scary moments and into fun experiences that leave us excited for the next climb.

As climbers we fall. It's part of the sport. So, why fear it? There are tools and practices that can help transform our fear into a helpful piece of a bigger puzzle.

Join us August 18th and September 1st for a course made to help you overcome your fear of falling.

$149 per person

What does mindful climbing mean?

A clear mind?

Repeating a mantra?

An intense focus?

In short, none of these things alone.

Mindfulness takes time, space, and awareness. It's not only a way of thinking, but also a way of being. It's recognizing the choice to either react or reflect. In this head space we are open to make mistakes and learn from them.

It's a pretty powerful place to be.

Diamondback courses provide time and space for new perspectives. We are here to help climbers develop self awareness and move past limiting beliefs.

Learn from AMGA certified climbing instructor Nicole Chickloski. Nicole has been climbing for 8 years and guiding professionally for 4. Nicole believes in a holistic approach to climbing and teaching. She offers lessons based on technical knowledge AND the mental aspects of climbing. This approach allows her clients to walk away with a better overall understanding of climbing and how they relate to the sport.

A calm, clear, and open mind keeps everyone safe, and provides the greatest opportunity for learning.

This is for you if:
You climb ropes in the gym
Have a good understanding of how to belay with a GriGri or ATC
Know how to tie in with a figure 8 follow through
You, or your climbing partner, have the necessary gear to climb outside*
You see yourself wanting to spend time climbing outside this summer
