Founded in 2019 by Sue Doran, our program started with a photo on Pat Loftus' page proudly featuring his father's banner in Carleton Place. Planning with the legion and the Town of Perth began, receiving 102 applications in 2020. Join us in honoring our veterans!

This afternoon, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Sergeant Brandon Malcolm will begin his final journey along Highway 401, travelling eastbound from Toronto to Oshawa. This procession stands as a solemn tribute to his service, his leadership, and his unwavering commitment to the people of Ontario.

Members of the public, alongside first responders, are invited to pay their respects from designated overpasses between Keele Street and Thickson Road South. Your presence reflects the deep gratitude felt across our province for Sergeant Malcolm’s dedication and sacrifice.

As per the OPP, a livestream will be available for those who wish to honour Sergeant Malcolm from home, ensuring that all who served with him, stood beside him, or were impacted by his work and loss may take part in this moment of remembrance.
