The 5th annual Big Squeeze is right around the corner! It’s only one week away and we are beyond excited. This event has been happening in Sarnia-Lambton since 2019 and has continued to grow larger each year. Local businesses will set up lemonade stands outside of their respective locations, each offering a variety of lemonade flavours or other fun treats. All of the donations received are given to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton. Isn’t that awesome? This year, there will be community passports, which can include prizes for those visiting lemonade stands. For more information on which businesses are participating and what to expect, stay up to date with BBBS social media posts!
Tourism Sarnia-Lambton is incredibly excited to be a part of The Big Squeeze again! It has been a blast being involved in something so fun that gives back so much to the community. This year, we’re excited to try out something a little bit different. Come see us at 1455 Venetian Blvd in Point Edward on Wednesday, August 6th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.! And that’s a wrap on Outdoor Activities week! This is only a list of the places the Ontario’s Blue Coast summer students visited this week and does not include all of the awesome locations within our county that fall under the “outdoor activities” category. We had a blast checking out these local businesses and parks. Whether you want to go canoeing, parasailing, boating, or play a sport, Sarnia-Lambton has you covered. We’re home to a wide range of water activities, which leads to a perfect summer day! Visit our many local parks, such as Germain Park and Corunna Athletic Park, for a game of soccer, pickleball, or baseball! Have a great weekend 🛶🎾⚾️🎣
