Today is the last day to register for our medicine walk with Clare Butterfly, happening tomorrow, Sat July 6, at 1:30pm! You'll be lead on a walk of our site to look for medicinal plants, learn about their uses, & harvest them. You'll also get a tea as part of the walk. $40 per person & all ages welcome. It was a slower start to the camping season this year with less than ideal weather but we are in full swing now! We just wrapped up a great weekend complete with a big group from Calgary who had an exciting gender reveal party while they were camping here! Congratulations to the expecting family!!
Looking forward to the busiest weekend of the year coming up.

One of the new additions to Hippy Haven this season are horseshoe pits. I have this trophy and horse shoes that were my Grandpa Bud’s that I would like put into a weather proof case with the words “Bud Knudson Memorial Horseshoe Pits”. Does anyone know anywhere I could get something like that made?

I’m not the greatest at keeping this page active to say the least. That doesn’t mean that the fun has stopped at Hippy Haven! I had 17 guests last night and such great people. It makes my heart happy to see the guests mingle and new friends being made. The trails are getting more groomed all the time. The off leash dog run that’s close to 1/4 of an acre is a nice addition as well. The bird watching has never been better with a red tail hawk and a northern cardinal being spotted in the last 2 days just to mention a couple.
