📍 K’ak’awin (Sproat Lake Petroglyphs)
Tucked along the shores of Sproat Lake Provincial Park, the Petroglyph Trail offers a chance to slow down, connect with nature, and experience an important cultural site in the Alberni Valley. 🌿
The trail to the viewing area is approximately 400–500 metres from the parking lot along a wide, well-maintained gravel path that may support access for many visitors. The route leads close to the floating dock where the petroglyphs can be viewed, with the final section including uneven rock terrain. Public washrooms were clean and wheelchair accessible during the visit.
