Our mission is to promote business in our downtown area, through beautification and promotion. Downtown Port Colborne is a BIA (Business Improvement Area), representing the businesses in the canal district. Our role is to promote and market the businesses, to beautify, enhance, and preserve the downtown core, including our cultural assets and historical buildings. The BIA promotes and markets the

downtown area as a destination to shop, dine, work, and explore. We also work closely with the City of Port Colborne and other community partners to promote economic and community development.
