Hello hello everyone!

With so many new faces on here, I wanted to introduce myself to all of you..

First of all, thank you for following along my journey ❤️ it’s not traditional, it’s wild and crazy but it’s mine and I love every minute of it 🤓

I am a mom to two beautiful girls and our Alaskan Husky - a 5 year old, a 3 year old and our furry baby - Shadow! I am a wife to my high school sweetheart and a nurse by profession. I love my job - a nurses job is rewarding and fulfilling but I needed something more to fill up my evenings and weekends 🤷🏻‍♀️

3 years back, I started my travel blog . I’ve loved sharing our family adventures with the world. I’ve enjoyed advocating for travelling with kids and most importantly, I’ve loved the community we’ve built and getting to know people from around the globe.

But, it was time to build on this and so I got certified as a travel agent earlier this year.

I believe in following all my wild dreams but also doing it right. Now I enjoy booking trips for my friends, family and followers who enjoy our adventures and are looking for similar adventures 💛

There are moments during our travels that leave us in awe. Watching the penguins at Boulder’s Beach in South Africa was one of them 🐧

I always thought I’d have to visit Antarctica to see Penguins but who knew we’d get to see a colony in South Africa?

People often ask us what our favourite family travel destination has been.

It’s a hard one to answer although I feel like my answer will be New Zealand after our trip there next month 😉

For now, I have a few.. South Africa, Maldives, Banff.. it’s just so hard to pick ONE 🙊

✨Booking tips for Maldives✨

The Maldives is slowly sinking and is quickly seeing an extreme rise in visitors! If your’re looking to visit these beautiful islands, NOW is the time 😍

Here are some tips to help you plan a trip to the Maldives!
☀️ These islands are 100% worth the price. The service, the ambience, the food, everything from start to finish is beyond spectacular and worth it
☀️ Your price will be dependent on your local mode of transfer to your resort - eg. A speedboat, a domestic flight or a seaplane
☀️ Prices will depend on the kind of accommodations you pick - eg. Beach villa vs overwater villa or a split stay. With or without a private pool, etc.
☀️ The meal plan you pick will also determine your price - just be aware that each resort is housed on its own island so you can’t leave the island for meals. It’s cheaper to buy an all inclusive meal plan than pay for each dish at the resort because each dish varies from 25-40$USD!
☀️ The kids clubs are AMAZING! This gives adults time to snorkel or go for a meal by themselves
☀️ If you have an OCI or an Indian passport, prices are cheaper for you!

Travelling with our family has been beyond exhilarating for us.. Sure, it comes with its ups and downs but the memories last us a life time and it’s ALL worth it in the end ❤️

Every family has different expectations and ideas for a family vacation. Here are some examples:

✨ Some families like the more relaxed resort and beach vibes
✨ Some families choose to cruise
✨ Some families like to join a small tour
✨ Some families like to rent a car and drive around at their own pace

I am so excited to introduce my new venture with you all! A venture that was created as an extension of Lifewith2cubs. A venture that I have manifested for years & a venture that is so close to my heart - because - LOVE for travel ❤️

A bit about myself and why I’m here - my name is Karishma! I live in Port Elgin, Ontario with my husband, 2 girls and our furry pet. I am a Public Health Nurse and work with the local health unit.

I have been meaning to start a travel business for years now. 3 years ago we started a family travel blog and started creating content for brands and destinations. I absolutely love doing that but after every trip, we had a ton of people reaching out asking how we booked, who our travel agent was, etc.

I have endlessly researched for all our trips and booked it myself for us and for our family! I found myself recommending travel agents that I barely knew and some that I had never worked with.

This was my aha moment!

It was time to become a travel advisor myself! I finally decided to go for it last year. Studied for the TICO exam and passed it. Life got busy with two little girls but this year, I was adamant to start this and I am VERY eager to make this work!
